The MVGA plays preferred lies if required on the fairways at all times. This is intended to make the golfing experience more enjoyable and also to minimise fairway damage. Additionally, a summary of the main changes to the Rules of Golf as at 1 January 2019 is included below. The "Ball not Found" and "Ball Out of Bounds" guidance principles have been adopted in an effort to minimise the incidence of slow play. Members should adhere to these guidance notes.
